- Satin Alcyonne
- SATIN ALCYONNEA satin first made in France over 100 years ago in the common 5-shaft weave, two-fold warp and single weft, warp and weft of different colours. Owing to the number of ends being twice as many per inch as weft threads, the fabric had a warp face of one colour and a weft back of another. The same cloth with single warp ends was known as satin de Chine.
